Established in 1986, Groundtel Ltd has been providing ground maintenance and soft landscaping of the highest quality to its customers for over 25 years.
Based in Uxbridge, Middlesex, we maintain sites across London and the home counties.
We take an active role in helping schools, colleges, NHS Trusts and local authorities to improve the external presentation of their sites and work closely to ensure that a regular programme of maintenance is matched to available budgets.
Groundtel Ltd is a member of BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) and the IOG (Institute of Groundsmanship).
We are also registered as an accredited company within CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme)
We carry out all aspects of grounds maintenance including tractor mounted cylinder and rotary cutting of large areas, cutting, boxing and striping of all formal areas, strimming, blowing and hedge cutting by hand and tractor mounted flail. Litter picking is also carried out. A glyphosate based weedkiller is applied around the sites; hard surfaces, building surrounds, footpaths, fence lines and obstacles by qualified operatives. Good recognised horticulture practice is adhered to at all times when carrying out maintenance of the flower beds, shrubs and hedges.
Our main business is the maintenance of school grounds which includes Bishopshalt School in Hillingdon, pictured.
One of our main strengths is our ability to work closely with our clients to ensure a regular programme of maintenance is matched to available budgets. This friendly and understanding approach has enabled us to win contracts in over 100 schools.
We have formed partnerships with several high schools and have taken a very active role in helping them to improve both, sporting facilities and external presentation.
